Selena Gomez is truly loving Benny Blanco like a love song, ReactstoClaim baby.
The "Come and Get It Singer" singer responded to a fan who questioned her relationship with the record producer.
"I know and so do you that at the time she would never have gotten engaged to Benny," a fan wrote on a June 3 TikTok alongside a video of Selena when she was younger. "She was in her IT GIRL era."
But Selena has very different feelings on that period in her life, commenting, "Kinda makes me laugh because I was so depressed back then lol."
And fans quickly came to the 32-year-old's defense, with one commenting, "Benny treats her like a queen."
Another fan added, "people who hate on the relationship gotta get over it. she's the happiest she's ever been."
And that sentiment is one Selena has echoed ever since she and Benny went public with their relationship in December.
"I'd have to say overall it's the safest that I feel," she told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 in February. "It's been really lovely and I've only grown through it, so it's awesome."
"To kind of feel really happy in my life and actually mean," she continued, "I'm just smiling the whole time. It's such a good feeling."
Still, the Rare Beauty founder has had to defend her relationship with the 36-year-old.
"He is my absolute everything in my heart," she wrote in a Dec. 7 Instagram comments. "Why has he been the best thing that's ever happened to me?"
Sharing that she's now at her "happiest," Selena added, "He's still better than anyone I've ever been with."
In fact, she recently referred to Benny—real name Benjamin Joseph Levin—as the "love of her life" while celebrating her birthday July 22.
As for the "Moves Like Jagger" producer, he's gotten very candid about the fact that he's ready for a future with the Wizards of Waverly Place alum.
"I want to have kids," he told Howard Stern in May. "That's the next goal, to check the box. I have a ton of godkids, I've got a ton of nephews. I love being around kids."
